The classification of Russian medieval coins of the 16th-18th centuries is one of the most difficult sections of Russian numismatics. The difficulty of studying these coins is due to their diminutive size. Often the coins are practically "blind", with unreadable inscriptions and monotonous images on the front sides. The purpose of this edition is to identify only the obverses (with the image of a rider on a horse and the year of minting) of the kopecks of the sole reign of Tsar Peter I.
